04 Jan Martial Eagle Meets Her Baby For The First Time.

We hope you all enjoy peace, love and happiness in 2017.

We just wanted to give you all an update on our baby Martial Eagle. The chick is doing well, and although the parents struggled to get a handle on feeding for the first few days, they have got the hang of it now. The male diligently brings food to the nest, but so far he is not involved in feeding the chick at all. The female does all the feeding. We will follow this post with a video of a feed later. We are delighted to announce that the chick is a female. Here is the moment mum meets her daughter for the first time. 🙂
